Will the Democratic party, which is committed (to say the least) to gender equity, and which in fact has a 50 percent quota for female delegates, accept Obama’s imposition of a glass ceiling at its convention?Gender equity? I don't think the GOP has any room to talk about gender equity.
So Hillary Clinton gets about 18 million votes in 2008, and isn’t even considered for--she apparently isn’t even given the courtesy of being consulted--the vice presidential pick. There's so much wrong with Kristol if it wasn't for his daddy the man would have no job whatsoever. According to the standard just set by Kristol the VP should be the person (preferably female) that gets the second most votes in the primary. That means McCain's VP should be Mike Huckabee. If it's not, the Republicans are administering a glass ceiling. And since there are no females of any sort (white, black, Asian, etc., etc.,) for McCain to choose from it has to be Huckabee. But I'm sure this new rule only applies to Democrats since it is commenting on Democratic happenings that Kristol is so experienced at.
It must be totally disheartening to have Bill Kristol as the head of your party's modern movement.
