Bailout Trouble

I think it's pretty clear from reading my last few posts that I didn't support this bailout. From Bush's first push for it to Congress' 100 page add-on's, I couldn't grasp the concept of such a bailout. I absolutely think any bailout that only focuses on Big Business would be a band-aid. Thus any bailout package would have to include protections for the tax payers as well. This particular bailout in it's current form did not go far enough in protecting the taxpayer and gave way too much to businesses who couldn't balance their checkbooks. My belief is you either go all the way or not at all.

With today's developments the Dow tumbled to its worse one day point loss ever, nearly 778 points.  60% of Democrats voted for the bill.  Only 33% of Republicans did.
