Palin's Baby's Momma

Some quick thoughts about last nights Waylin Palin's speech, not that I watched it cause I had much better things to do, but I did watch a couple clips and read about it this morning. First, where's Hillary? She needs to be the one to counter Palin's ridiculous claims that Obama isn't experienced enough and that personal family matters aren't personal family matters when it comes to the White House. If anyone has experience with that it's the Clinton's. I couldn't possibly imagine what would have happened if Chelsea Clinton had gotten pregnant at 17. The right wing would have used her pregnancy as an issue to demonstrate Democratic family values or lack thereof. There's no doubt in my mind.

Secondly, where are the talking heads at in bringing up the right wing hypocrisy concerning teen pregnancy (Jamie Spears)? I believe it's the GOP that wants abstinence only education and it was Gov. Palin who slashed funding for pregnant teenage mothers. It's also the right wing theocons who chastise anyone that wants to give a choice to a woman's right to privacy. The entire GOP is built around abstinence only education, a Constitutional Amendment to take away a woman's right to privacy, dismantling government programs to help teen mothers, and big government that demands people live moral and wholesome value lives. Nothing in Sarah Palin's family or history suggests her or her family practice any of those Republican platforms even though Palin and her Party want to legislate it for the rest of us.

Thirdly, when will the media, or anyone, bring up the fact that Bush's name has only been mentioned one time during the entirety of the Republican Convention? Republicans want to be able to run away from Bush's legacy even though they want to continue his policies. This is dishonesty in all its forms and the MSM is giving the GOP a free ride.
