Over the weekend Republican Congressman Robin Hayes (R-NC) told a crowd of fringe Republican McCain supporters that Obama is a socialist and that liberals hate America. Of course the fanatics yelled and cheered his hate speech, and then I'm sure someone in the crowd shouted "kill him."
When Congressman Hayes was pressed on why he said such things he lied and stated he never said such words and called any report that he did "irresponsible journalism."
Here's the audio from the fascist rally where he indeed said those things:
"Sarah Palin — she’s a lady that can get ‘er done. She’s been in Alaska. She got ‘er did! Folks, there’s a real America, and liberals hate real Americans that work, and accomplish, and achieve, and believe in God. That’s a great comparison."
Congressman Hayes' behavior follows the script exactly of what the GOP has been doing to try and close their gap in the polls and that is question people's patriotism who don't vote Republican, and then at the end throw in a quip about God and church. It's textbook Republican politics. If you don't march lock-step with the GOP you must be anti-American and not love God. This is pathetic behavior that involves every tendency of fascism. This is exactly why we can't afford four more years of George Bush Republican rule.
