As the McCain Camp steps up its attacks his supporters are doing their part in the sleaze campaign.

At a Sarah Palin rally a supporter yells out "kill him."

And in the latest installment of the collapse of the GOP, the Pennsylvania GOP sends out a press release entitled "Obama: A Terrorist's Best Friend"

Seriously, this is the kind of crap that people usually put on people's car windshields at 3 in the morning, unsigned in crude block letters. The fact that the Republican Party of Pennsylvania would put this out on its official letterhead is truly a rock bottom moment in American politics. It makes me wonder what the Republican Party has to hide if they are this desperate to try to cling to power at all costs to their dignity and humanity.

It's all about clinging to power. In the Republican Fantasy World they can't quite figure out just why their attacks aren't working. Eight years ago this stuff was like super glue. Six years ago the press cobbled it up like it was candy. Four years ago it was perfectly suitable to call a wounded Vietnam veteran a coward and to question his patriotism. Even two years ago the GOP was still able to hold onto a couple House seats by questioning patriotism. But today, it's not working and their Fantasy World is crumbling all around them. Stooping to such garbage is nothing compared to what it means to their World if they lose.

There's one final ironic twist in all of this.
