Approval Ratings Soar As Well
A new WSJ/NBC poll shows President Bush's job approval ratings have soared to 29%. That's up from 24% this time last month. The same poll also shows only 18% of the American people will miss him once he leaves office. Compare that to 36% who said they would miss Clinton. Those who said Bush will be remembered as one of the worst presidents stands at 48%. Those who think Bush will be remembered as one of the worst ever or worse than most is 78%. Compare that to the 66% who said Clinton would be remembered as one of the very best or better than most.
