What A Day

Don't know how the rest of the country is reacting but here in Illinois things are still rather crazy. Finally, finally, our wonderful governor is arrested. This couldn't be a better or sadder day in Illinois history. But on top of all that has happened here in the Land of Lincoln other events of political splendidness developed across the nation as well.
  • Sen. Larry Craig will not be allowed to withdraw his 2007 guilty plea for disorderly conduct stemming from an arrest for soliciting prosititution.
  • Joe the Plummer officially turns on John McCain. Stating he wanted to get off the bus but feared an Obama presidency worse.
