The Hits Keep On Coming

If I didn't know any better I would think the people of Alaska didn't like their governor. I've been told numerous times of her extreme popularity in one of the scarcest populated states, but reading the largest newspaper in that state really begs to differ just how great and popular Sarah Palin really is.

I wrote the other day about Sarah Palin's advice to pregnant teens, if you talk to God about it then everything's okay. Also, Gov. Palin appears to have pulled some strings to get her teen daughter's baby's father a job as an electrical apprentice. And now it appears that the arrest of her teen daughter's baby's father's mother was delayed until after the election because of political meddling by Sarah Palin, or so says an investigator for the Alaska State Police.
Kyle Young, a troopers drug investigator who was involved in the case, wrote in an e-mail last week to all members of the Public Safety Employees Association, the union that represents troopers and other law enforcement officers around the state.

Young wrote that after it became clear who Johnston is, "this case became anything but normal."

"It was not allowed to progress in a normal fashion, the search warrant service WAS delayed because of the pending election and the Mat Su Drug Unit and the case officer were not the ones calling the shots," Young wrote.
I think it should also be pointed out that Gov. Palin and the State Police really don't like each other so all of this should immediately be taken at face value.
