As I noted the other day news coming out of Alaska that the arrest of Sarah Palin's teen daughter's baby's father's mother was delayed until after the election for political reasons was indeed a face value story. It's no secret the state police and Sarah Palin don't like each other, so anything involving the two should be treated carefully. As it turns out, the state trooper making claims of political interference is now backing down. This should be duly noted in treated with such regard.
*Update:
On the other hand, another Palin saga I mentioned the other day turns out to have been right on the money.
Levi Johnston, Sarah Palin's daughter's baby's papa, has resigned his position as an electrical apprentice. Turns out you gotta have a high school diploma, which he doesn't because he dropped out of school to pursue an online degree. Nevertheless, it's rather apparent Gov. Palin had to have had some influence on getting the unqualified Levi a highly sought after job.
