Fox News isn't going to give up it's promotion of Tea Bagger protests against the Obama administration any time soon. I suspect by the 2012 elections, Fox will have devoted thousands of hours of on-air coverage as well as hands-on promotion and organization of the Tea Baggers and their dislike of President Obama.Since Fox is balls deep in the business of organizing protests against the president, it doesn't come as any surprise that they completely neglect coverage of other protests taking place in this country.
One would think, however, a news channel that prides itself as being "Fair and Balanced" and one that takes such a personal stake in organizing protests, would also fawn when it realizes other protests are happening all over, especially ones that are larger in size or comparable to their Tea Baggers. Take for instance the pro health care reform rally in Pennsylvania last week. Or a rally in Chicago yesterday where a thousand people showed up to protest bank greed. Now come on, surely Tea Baggers are against bank greed too. Why didn't Fox devote as much time to Chicago or Pennsylvania as it is their Tea Baggers. Actually, Fox didn't devote one single second of coverage to the ABA protest in Chicago or the pro health care reform rally in Pennsylvania. Doesn't make sense for such a protest-loving network to miss out on all the protests does it?
*Update:
How long until Republicans and Fox News start comparing their freedom loving plight to those of the protesters in Afghanistan wanting their country back?
