I Do Not Love Congress, but thanks for raising me!

I really don't care much for Evan Bayh. He has always seemed selfish and all about himself. But his parting words are worth a second look.
There's "too much narrow ideology and not enough practical problem-solving" on Capitol Hill, Bayh said as he announced his retirement. "I do not love Congress."
Poor guy. Congress has been such a terrible place for him. Congress provided his daddy a steady paycheck for 18 years. It gave Evan insurance coverage throughout his childhood. Congress paid his way through college, gave him a law degree. Even gave him the name recognition to run for Secretary of State in Indiana where he later became a two-term governor before he himself went to the senate to take over his daddy's seat. Congress has provided Evan's children with full coverage insurance and a cozy pension he and his wife will enjoy for quite some time. Congress has also given Evan Bayh the expertise to go be a lobbyist where he will make millions lobbying against health care reform that would provide very similar health care the Congress he doesn't love has provided him his whole life. Don't let the door hit ya Evan.

*Update:

Evan Bayh says he will not become a lobbyist after retiring. At least not for a year that is.
