One month after Diana Cantor, wife of Eric Cantor, was appointed to the Virginia Retirement Systems Board, the Bank of New York Mellon started making the maximum allowable contribution to Rep. Cantor’s PAC. Coincidentally, the Virginia Retirement System is a $4.5 million per year client of Bank of New York Mellon.
