GOP Revolts, at least for a day

I'm just  catching up on events that happened Tuesday.  Some of it really catches me off guard. Mitt Romney, the Republican front-runner lost all three states yesterday.  Huh?

Given that Missouri was non-binding and Minnesota and Colorado had very low turnout, normally this would not be a big deal.  But losing a full sweep is a big deal considering Romney didn't win a single county in Missouri or Minnesota.  This is really quite amazing.

Last year John McCain, who most Republicans simply held their nose and voted for, at least won Missouri-- a state with two fairly large metropolitan populations (St. Louis and Kansas City).  Mitt Romney not only lost Missouri big time, he didn't even win a single county.  I'd have to say that's anything but good news for Big Love.

Before this gets taken out of context, I'm not saying this is the end of the world for Romney. Not even close.  He's still the probable winner.  But I'll say again, instances where it's safe to say he's the probable nominee are getting fewer and fewer.
