The Surgey Surge

It's blatantly obvious the McCain Campaign wants to start the Iraq debate In January of 2007-- from when the surge began. They want to painstakingly avoid any utterance of the four prior years of war, a war McCain called a "great tragedy" and war he said we would win easily. Just read his unpublished op-ed for the NY Times. It mentions the wonderful surge at least three times. In the Republican Fantasy World, the first four years are like warm up years. You know, like George Bush's first four years were no where near as successful as his last four years. There isn't any reason at all why we shouldn't give the Republicans another four years to keep tweaking Iraq.
