Let's see here. First, on Wednesday John McCain says he is suspending his campaign to immediately return to Washington, a place hadn't been since April, to work on the financial crisis. Not only did he not suspend his campaign (him and his surrogates have been on television and his ads have not been pulled), he didn't immediately return to Washington either. He canceled on Letterman, citing the same urgent return to Washington, but instead remained in New York and did media interviews, and didn't return to Washington until Thursday. How does it take over 24 hours to get to Washington?
Also on Wednesday John McCain says he wants to cancel the first presidential debate scheduled for Friday. Obama disagreed and said the debate must go on. Then McCain says if there is no congressional solution to the financial crisis he won't debate. Now he says he will debate even though there is no congressional solution.
He lied about suspending his campaign. He lied to Letterman about returning to Washington, which he didn't do until the next day. He lied about not debating and then lied again about not debating until there was a congressional solution. A full week of knee jerk reactions from a very unstable campaign and person. Only Fox News could spin this to make it look like a week full of smart, sound, victorious decisions by a born leader.
