Senate Set for Bailout Vote

Whatever happens tonight and no matter how much the Democratic Party supports this bailout package, I stand opposed to it. I've spent the last hour or so reading through portions of the bill and it's total drama.  It began as a three page bill that was turned into 110 pages by the House.  Now the Senate has extended it to 450 pages full of tax breaks, pork spending, health care packages for the mentally ill, aid to rural school districts and higher insurance coverages for bank accounts.  It is by far the largest pork barrel spending bill in history.

The vote is to take place shortly, but for anyone halfway interested in understanding this package the Politico has the best rundown yet.

I see neither the necessity for such a bailout nor the stomach.
