It looks as if Al Franken is going to win the Minnesota Senate race after all.It's interesting to note that Al Franken played Senator Paul Simon on many Saturday Night Live sketches. As it turns out, I worked for Senator Simon for about three years and he was the first person to introduce me to then State Senator Barack Obama, whom I would later work for. Senator Simon passed away five years ago this month.
