Stimulus bill passes without a single Republican vote. Like I've been saying for six months, once they are out of power Republicans will all of a sudden become worried about government spending again. The GOP-controlled government passed every single spending bill George Bush delivered to it. Not one time did they tell George Bush no. In fact, they added so much pork to every spending bill they ran up the largest deficit in American history. But now that they have absolutely no power they have returned to their so-called fiscally conservative ways. It's a Fantasy World. Trust the GOP as far as you can throw 'em.
No one can say that President Obama didn't go out of his way to make this a bipartisan solution to a very real economic crisis. But bipartisanship to the GOP is an entirely Republican George Bush bill. Those days are over, thank God.
