“She would be the sixth Catholic on the Supreme Court. … She’s a Catholic, a devout Catholic, she hasn’t got a record on [abortion] … I can see a possibility of supporting this nomination if I can be convinced that she does have a sensibility towards life.”Of all things, religion-- especially one that is introduced at birth to a person such as Sotomayor's Catholicism-- is a personal life influence. Just last week Limbaugh stated that personal influences should not be allowed to rule the Bench and that Sotomayor must be stopped. As with all things Republican, personal influences are not allowed unless those influences happen to agree 100% with their own Fantasy World view.
Fat Limbaugh's comments, however, concerning Roe v. Wade couldn't be further from mainstream America than is his addiction to divorce and pills. All latest polling suggests overwhelmingly Americans do not believe Roe should be overturned.
