Repubs Begin Movement for Impeachment

I knew it wouldn't be long because predicting Republican behavior is one of the easiest things anyone could do. Sometimes we underestimate their insanity but guessing their immediate behavior is rather simple. In 2006 Republicans claimed that if the Democrats took back Congress they would go on a rampage to impeach George Bush. It didn't happen and no serious effort ever made it to the House floor. Republicans claimed Democrats would look to remove the president because that is exactly what they would do and have done when they control Congress and can't win presidential elections. And they've already started on their movement to impeach Obama.

Yes they are that crazy to try this again. They almost succeeded in 1998. The impeachment of Bill Clinton was the culmination of 5 years of wing nut grandstanding to subvert democratic elections. There's no reason to believe that a much more insane party that uses "death panels" and "Soviet style gulags" to frame national debates would not think two seconds before removing President Obama from office if they were to take back Congress. In fact, they would see their victory as a Revolution! proving the American people want Obama impeached and removed. Their whole party is ripe for another round of impeach-the-president.
