Amongst tea baggers, birthers, truthers, racists, conspiracy theorists, and people who think a $1.3 trillion deficit is no big deal, but a $1.4 trillion deficit equals the end of the world, there's also a fresh mix of impeachment supporters at CPAC this weekend.
It's not that Republicans lose elections. It's that an enemy is occupying our country and Freedom Fighters must unite.
I don't know what else, or what other sentiment has to be present before these people are officially titled by the media as fringe extremists. If Democrats held a meeting where the sponsors, speakers and attendees were a mix of people who thought Bush was born in Africa, 9/11 was a government plot, people should be given "literacy tests" before being allowed to vote, and that the government was being controlled by foreign plots, would the media call it anything else than what it is: a bunch of fanatical idiots that do good to get out of bed every day.
