CNN is reporting that government scientists have labeled the BP oil spill the worst in U.S. history and possibly the world. Estimating more than twice the oil has been leaked than the Exxon Valdez spill.
Such a tragedy. No excuse for any of it. I really hope the president rethinks his stance on drilling expansion. And I hope the president holds BP accountable. Then I hope we can finally have a sustainable 21st century plan to alleviate ourselves from our oil addiction.
