The Trinity-- Rand Paul (Libertarian, Republican, Tea Bagger)-- really considers himself smarter than everybody else. That's fine because I've never met a politician that wasn't egotistical, and that includes Barack Obama. Dealing with egos is just part of it.
Randy thinks he is so smart that he doesn't have to explain himself. What he says is gospel and not to be questioned, only followed. It's when you get him to focus on what he really believes, like the Civil Rights Act being unconstitutional, do you see just how inaccurate and lunatic fringe he really is. This morning Sir Rand gave us another example when he said President Obama was "un-American" for criticizing British Petroleum.
Yes boys and girls let's get this right. It's "un-American" for an American to criticize a foreign company that is responsible for the largest man-made oil spill in history. An oil spill caused by a foreign company right off our shores. We aren't allowed to criticize it and if we do, we are worthless as an American. There really is no difference between Rand Paul and George Bush ideology. Protect Big Business, keep rich people rich and anyone who questions you or your special interest groups that keep you in power, is "un-American." I'm glad to see this whole libertarian-Republican fringe finally coming out, however. Their connection is something I've been telling my friends that now claim to be Libertarian because they are mad at the GOP track record of fiscal irresponsibility and huge government. They are one in the same.
