I don't know anyone that's against a Monday quickie!

• Anti-Muslim fervor heats up with reported shots being fired at cleanup crews trying to clear away the leftovers from a weekend arson attempt on a would-be mosque in Tennessee.  Wheeee!!  But don't worry, the right wing is not extreme at all.  They're Patriots!

• Completely insane Glenn Beckpalooza draws about 85,000 people to DC over the weekend.  This can only mean one thing:  the Republican Fantasy World number will be about 2.3 million.  On a side note, Fox News and Republicans were estimating 300,000.  Way short of that.  But Fox will never report it that way.

• Steven Benen does a heck of a job of reminding Rush Limbaugh about factual history.  Classic post by Steve.

• Alaska GOP U.S. Senate candidate says he wants to return to the basics of the Constitution because we have gotten too far away from the Founder's intent especially with Social Security, Medicare and regulation.  It was the Founder's intent that blacks would be slaves and women property.  It took federal regulation to include both those groups as official citizens of this country.  Just how basic does he want to get??
