It's common knowledge tea bagger candidates are on the far side of crazy. From wanting to barter chickens for health care, to wanting to reimpose Jim Crow literacy tests on voters, to suggesting the president is a foreign-born enemy of the state, there is no limit to their looney. One thing that gets overlooked in all their crazy ideas and conspiracy theories is their desire to have their own personal morals imposed on the whole country.
Tea baggers are largely self-proclaimed "Christians." Not all are, but a large majority support legislating the Bible. When this happens in other parts of the world and with other religions we call them terrorists. But when "Christian" tea baggers do it we call it Super Patriotism. They are the first to yell and scream about sharia this and that and about mosques going up here and there but they want to do the very same thing here in America except with what they perceive as Christian values.
Case in point is Republican tea bagger hopeful in Delaware, Christine O'Donnell. Until recently she was considered a long shot to capture the GOP nod. Things must have changed because the head of the Delaware GOP now states that O'Donnell is so wacked that she couldn't be elected dog catcher. Strong words for someone running on your ticket. So what's so wrong with O'Donnell? Her belief that masturbation is a sin because the Bible tells us so is a good place to start.
