A group of prominent former world leaders said Wednesday the so-called war on drugs, as begun by the Great Richard Nixon, has "failed" and that decriminalizing marijuana may help curb drug-related violence and social ills. I agree.
By agreeing and being a registered Democrat I realize this opens me up to being labeled an America-hating liberal. Only if I were a Republican like Ron Paul could I then hope for being labeled a Great Freedom Loving, Liberty Supporting Patriot for my political stances. Alas, though, I'll take being a Democrat any day.
