The George W. Bush appointee that oversaw the disastrous FEMA response to Hurricane Katrina says he supports Rep. Eric Cantor's call for budget cuts before any money to Hurricane Irene relief.
These are the same people who have said for years that tax cuts for the wealthy don't have to be offset with budget cuts. But disaster relief for millions of people affected by a natural disaster must be, however. The only thing worse than actually having such ideas as part of your ideology is the media allows all of it to go unchecked.
