Republican policy analyst Charles Blahous, who was appointed by President Obama in 2010 as the Republican trustee for Medicare and Social Security finances, released a personal study today claiming Obama's health-care law would increase the national deficit by $340 billion, not decrease it as the Congressional Budget Office has routinely scored.
Blahous claims CBO was double-dipping on some cost saving measures resulting in false advertisement claiming Obama's health care reform was deficit neutral.
I wonder if Blahous and other Republicans will soon release a report showing Bush's huge Medicare expansion will add more to the deficit than its original $700 billion price tag by using the same new math Blahous uses for his study of ObamaCare? Extremely doubtful. Only Democratic legislation gets such scrutiny.
