A federal judge in Virginia, appointed by George W. Bush,
has ruled the individual mandate unconstitutional.
Safe to say this case was court shopped by Virginia's Republican Attorney General to precisely be heard by a Republican judge. No doubt this will go all the way to the Supreme Court before it's all finished.

Last but not least, it should be noted that the individual mandate was a
Republican proposal dating all the way back to 1993. When it was their idea they had no problems with it and swore up and down it was Constitutional. But since it was enacted by a Democratic president and passed by a Democratic Congress it is, by all means, against Liberty and Freedom. In case you can't see me, I'm flipping a big fat bird right at ya you weasel Republicans.
As it stands, three federal judges have ruled on the various aspects of Obama's HCR. Today's ruling is the only one to rule any part of the reform package as unconstitutional. Did I mention the judge is a George W. Bush appointee??
