"Just because a couple people on the Supreme Court declare something to be 'constitutional' does not make it so. The whole thing remains unconstitutional," the freshman lawmaker said in a statement.
Like Steve Benen notes, right off the bat Rand Paul is mentally incapable of understanding the basic functions of mathematics in relation to language. "A five-member majority is not a couple people." If it were only a couple people the court would have ruled much differently.
Secondly, based on the Constitution it is the job of the Supreme Court to decide what is and isn't legal, not the job of Rand Paul. To be honest, his very statement is unconstitutional. No where does it delegate power to Rand Paul or any specific person to decide the constitutionality of laws. It grants it to the Highest Court in the Land. Acting in accordance with the Constitution the Supreme Court has decided the Affordable Care Act is CONSTITUTIONAL.
I really can't explain just how mind-numbingly stupid Paul's statement truly is.
