If there was any doubt that McCain intended to run a positive, honest and honorable campaign it sank in one of his many mansion's toilets the second he decided to run this ad.This is despicable. This is trash that used to be left to outside groups and crazy wingers but now has been widely accepted by the GOP and their Roveian style politics. I don't care who you are, if you endorse this kind of sleaze you deserve no room in our society much less our political dialogue. Senator McCain and Gov. Palin, you've sunk to levels not seen in 200 years. Congratulations.
There are some admirable Republican presidents that I would stick up for all day long. Reagan being one them, Eisenhower being another (also a war hero like McCain), U.S. Grant another (also war hero like McCain) as well as Lincoln who never had to lay their service to this country on such filth in order to win an election. But not McCain. There can't possibly be anything left for you or your supporters to be proud of.
