This place is electric! I don't know how else to describe it. I've been to Washington many times in the past and I've never seen it like this. People are happy, proud, hopeful, cordial and best of all, celebrating America. Going to meet up with some friends for lunch today and probably do a round of drinks this evening. The weather isn't the best ever. Cold, snowy and could really do without the wind. But it's not stopping the crowds. For the first time ever I'm going to march on Washington. A revolutionized democracy has to be the greatest spectacle of mankind.
