"She was having some financial troubles," he said. "She asked for some money to go have a doctor's appointment — not knowing what that was — and whatever happened, happened, I guess. I didn't even know she had an abortion."
Note to self: when you run as a pro-life Republican candidate and send out mailers stressing your pro-life stance complete with pictures of you with babies, double check to make sure that you didn't pay for your girlfriends abortion 7 years prior.
