Republican Controlled MSM Attacks (Update)
There's really no reason for Sen. Obama to reject anything Gen. Wesley Clark said over the weekend. But Obama went ahead and did it anyway. Despite what Fox News is saying, and what their Fantasy World viewers are believing, Gen. Clark did not question his military service or state that his service was dishonorable or that his service has anything to do with him being president. Watch the clip above to see what Clark really said. He's not yelling or attacking; he was simply answering a question about Barack Obama's qualifications. Besides that, he's right. Getting shot down doesn't qualify you to be president. Yet it was Bob Scheiffer that brought up McCain getting shot down and saying that is enough to qualify McCain to be president.
*Update:
Something occurred to me again concerning Barack Obama. Not that what Clark said needed to be rejected because it didn't. But again Obama is being held to someone else's words. Just like with Rev. Wright and Pfleger, Obama is being pounded by the media for something he never said. John McSame gets the exact opposite attention from the media, however. Just yesterday McCain surrogate Joe Lieberman said al Qaeda was likely planning an attack for 2009. He said this under the context that John McCain would be better suited for president because he feels al Qaeda is readying for another attack and would try to test the new president. Without citing one shred of evidence to support his claims, Lieberman uses fear and that ever elusive bin Laden guy to trump support for John McCain. Why isn't McCain rejecting Lieberman for inciting fear amongst the American people? Because John McCain isn't held to other people's words. Barack Obama is.
