Tea Bagger Caucus Requested Over $1 Billion in Earmarks, This Session Alone!

The very brave and Patriotic Super American Freedom Fighting House Caucus, also known as the Tea Bagger Caucus to us layman, requested over $1 billion in pork funding just this session of Congress.

In the grand sum of things, $1 billion is but a drop in the bucket of the federal budget. But the tea baggers are the people who claim to be the crusaders of small government and fiscal conservatism.  And their loudest rallying cry?  An end to pork spending.

Here's how all this will turn out.  Since the tea bagger caucus is Republican the rank and file tea baggers won't care at all that their politburo is doing the exact opposite of what they claim to support.  Soon, though, a Republican, probably via Fox News, will blast a report that shows Democrats have spent billions on earmarks and tea baggers will pretend to be fiscally concerned and irate about wasteful spending.
