With his campaign seemingly in permanent down-spin, Mitt Romney does the usual GOP tactic of going on Fox News and calling their opponent a socialist. To prove his point, Romney references a 14 year old video of state senator Obama saying the word "redistribution."
McCain did this to Obama in 2008 with Joe the Non-Plumber. Bush did it to Kerry in 2004, and Gore in 2000. Heck the GOP did for 8 years straight with Clinton. Nowadays it falls on deaf ears. But Romney's latest attempt at the socialist finger pointing is another example of his campaign's downward spiral and the desperation it now sees in the polls.
How much longer until Romney starts accusing the president of paling around with terrorists and starts cracking birther jokes again? I'd say we're two days away from Romney calling another hastily planned press conference asking to see Obama's college transcripts or to call for Obama to undergo skull x-rays to prove he doesn't have a microchip in his head.
