Wishing for Failure Isn't the Same Thing as it Actually Happening

One thing we are going to hear quite a bit of from Republicans this election cycle is the sorry routine meme that Obama's policies made the recession worse. Given their inherent ability to rewrite history, edit out facts, and live in a Fantasy World where George Bush was a popular president and Iraq had something to do with 9/11, one wouldn't expect them to say anything else about the policies of the current White House.

The truth is, more than 1.6 million jobs have been netted during the Obama administration including 15 consecutive months of private sector job creation.



More jobs have been created in two years of the Obama administration than all 8 years of George Bush. Not to mention, the Dow has almost doubled since January 2009.

Things are better than what they were when Obama took office.  But there is still a long way to go.
