Most Delusional Reactions on the right to Obama's Victory

It's already started people.  Not even 12 hours after winning a huge reelection by a much greater margin than their Great Leader, they are already calling for Obama to be stopped and that the American people gave him no clear mandate to lead.

Fox News pundit Charles Krauthammer: “I think the real story here is that Obama won, but he’s got no mandate.”

Fox News pundit Dick Morris: "Morris agreed, adding however that “'we need to understand just how weakly this president was re-elected, by the skin of his teeth.'” The Republican party, he continued, needs to work with Obama “'when he’s positive,'” but “'otherwise, we need to stand up against this socialist agenda and stop him from fundamentally changing the United States.'"

Later, he added that “I think that what we have to understand is that this is a president that lost seven points of the mandate that he was elected for in 2008; he won by seven then, he won by one last night. And I think that the Republicans cannot be intimidated, they can’t be cowed. They’ve got to stand up and make sure that he does not make permanent these socialist, big government program that he’s been pushing since his first term.”

Let's see here.  Again, these two idiots couldn't be more wrong.  Currently Obama has over 50% of the popular vote of which he's up about 3 million votes with millions still to count.  He also captured 332 electoral votes to Romney's 206.  That isn't winning by the "skin of his teeth."  Far from it actually.

Compared to Bush's victory in 2000, it's a gigantic blowout.  Even compared to Bush's 2004 victory where he only won 286 electoral votes and by a margin of just over 3 million votes, it's still a huge blowout.  Plus, after 2004, Bush and Republicans did exactly what Morris is now saying isn't true: they claimed a mandate!! Bush himself said he had political capitol to spend.

So in what world does any of this make sense?

  • 2000 election, you lose popular vote and win electoral college by 1 vote.  Mandate!
  • 2004 election, you win popular vote by a little over 3 million and electoral college with 286.  Huge Mandate!
  • 2012 election, Obama wins reelection with bigger margins than George Bush ever did.  No Mandate, country is divided, we must stand up to his socialist agenda and fight him to save America!!

Barack Obama has been elected twice President of the United States by bigger, wider, larger and more popular margins than George W. Bush ever did.  Being told he has no mandate, that he won by the skin of his teeth, that we must fight his socialist agenda and that America is still divided is pure treachery.  No question, these people truly hate America.

Teh Revolution Ain't Over

Ron Paul will end his latest campaign for the presidency much like his previous two, packing it up while claiming victory for the movement.

“We will no longer spend resources campaigning in primaries in states that have not yet voted,” Paul wrote in an e-mail to supporters Monday. “Doing so with any hope of success would take many tens of millions of dollars we simply do not have. I encourage all supporters of Liberty to make sure you get to the polls and make your voices heard, particularly in the local, state, and Congressional elections, where so many defenders of Freedom are fighting and need your support.”

Freedom and Liberty, just so long as you vote for us.

Perry Says His Tax Plan Will "Set Our People Free"

This afternoon I'm going to read up on Rick Perry's new tax plan for America.  Policy, like this, is really what keeps me involved in politics.  After all, it's policies that are the true judge of any administration.  Like I said on a Facebook discussion one time.  Sure Reagan claimed he supported small government, sound economics and slashing budgets.  But he never did any of that.  Same for George W. Bush.  The same can be said about any modern Republican administration.  There is no segment in their political history at which they can point to and say here is when we governed the way we campaign.

That brings us to the very first thing I read this afternoon about Perry's newest tax plan.
(CNN) - Rick Perry said Tuesday his plan of giving Americans a choice between their current income tax rate or a 20% flat-tax would "set our people free" from burdensome tax law.
Of course he said it that way.  Everything thing they do is a REVOLUTION!.  They are constantly fighting evil, islamosocialistliberalfascists, and anti-Americanism.  You know, the people who don't agree with them.

I wouldn't expect Perry, or any Republican, to say anything different about any single policy proposal of theirs. They are a brutally oppressed people downtrodden by the enemy occupying our country.  Everything they do is simply to fight against tyranny and bring freedom to all.  If you disagree with any of it, your love for this country is highly questionable.

Christine O'Donnell Brings Revolution! to America's Living Rooms

We had ourselves a dandy last night in Delaware. The best the tea bagging Republicans have to offer should, in a sane world, shed some light on their whole movement.  Alas, though, if you don't conclude from watching the debate between Christine O'Donnell and Democrat Chris Coons that it was a stellar performance for all Freedom Fighting Super Patriot Americans, then you are solemnly anti-American in every way.  Sorry folks, that's just how it is when Fox News controls our world.

Great American, Freedom Fighting highlights:
  • O'Donnell could not name a single Supreme Court case (strikingly amazing in every sense)
  • O'Donnell stated we fought the Soviets in Afghanistan in the 80s and 90s and didn't finish the job
  • O'Donnell stated she thinks public schools should be allowed to teach creationism, i.e., the Christian version
*Update:

I wonder if O'Donnell knows that it was Reagan and the subsequent Republican administration that "didn't finish the job" in Afghanistan? Just a thought, but honestly whether she realizes it or not, she actually opened the door to the notion that yes indeed it was Reagan that armed, funded and supported the Mujahideen against the Soviet Union.  In other words, the people we fight today in Afghanistan are in existence entirely because of Ronald Reagan and the Republicans.

I doubt O'Donnell is smart enough to realize what she said and its implications on debate.  And not that it matters any way because I'm certain if you question her remarks all you are doing is demonstrating just how unserious and un-American you really are.

Republican: We'll Secede

It's a telling sign that today in GOP America the most Patriotic and Pro-American thing you can say to prove that you are a Real American is secession from the Union is an option unless the President's policies are stopped.

Rep. Zach Wamp, one of three candidates seeking the GOP gubernatorial nomination in Tennessee:

"I hope that the American people will go to the ballot box in 2010 and 2012 so that states are not forced to consider separation from this government," Wamp told Hotline OnCall Friday.

It's also worth mentioning that Wamp is an elected Republican Member of Congress.  Not just a wacko on the street but an actual elected official.  Their crazy is their mainstream.

Normally this wouldn't be such a big deal if the very people saying this were not the very people who called any dissent against George Bush as anti-Americanism. But now that the most unpopular president since the collection of data is out of office, it's the normal everyday Republican thing to do. Wheee!

You lost

Republicans Will Again Win Primaries!

 Republicans Celebrate Winning Republican Primaries

Today is primary and runoff day in many parts of the country. You know what this means don't ya???? Republicans will once again win Republican primaries! Revolution! baby.

*Update:

It's official.  With polls closing all across America, Republicans have indeed chalked up numerous victories in their own primaries!  There's nothing better than winning except for maybe proving to the world that Republicans are still more popular than Republicans that run against them.

This is an all night celebration.  I can feel it coming on.  Just imagine all the debauchery happening right now in South Carolina.  Wonder who Nikki Haley is taking home tonight to celebrate her huge conquest?

Joe the Plumber Launches Revolutionary! Electoral Win

I distinctly remember a while back that Joe The Plumber (aka Samuel Wurzelbacher)-- who is not a licensed plumber-- claimed to have never really been a Republican and then claimed to have left the Party he was never really a part of.

Well all that has changed now.  Okay, not all.  He's still not a plumber and his name still isn't Joe but he is now officially a Republican and an elected one at that.  Yes Sam Joe ran and won in the Republican Party Central Committee election in Ohio yesterday, 38-23.  Some might call that a landslide, but for Sammy Joe it's a mandate baby!

Seems just like yesterday that Sam Joe was merely just a struggling author, turned Fox News correspondent, turned war correspondent, turned GOP economic adviser, turned public speaker.  My how things have changed.  This can only mean one thing.  The GOP is the most popular political party ever established by God Almighty.  Let the Revolution! begin.

IL GOP Senate Candidate: Obama Administration is Illegally Creating Centralized Government

Harsh words from incumbent congressman Mark Kirk who is seeking election to succeed Roland Burris as the next U.S. senator from Illinois Rep. John Shimkus about President Obama and his administration.
He [Kirk] said President Barack Obama's administration is a "usurpation of centralized government" and stressed the importance of working to elect Republican politicians.
A centralized government? What the heck is that? We already have a centralized government. Maybe he meant a centralized economy. Either way, it's just another example of Republicans calling the President of the United States illegitimate and an enemy. Another example of many.

*Update:

It helps when you learn how to read.  The quote above is credited to Rep. John Shimkus (R-IL) and not Rep. Mark Kirk (R-IL) as indicated above.  The original premise is still the same.  It's still another example of elected Republicans calling the President of the United States an illegitimate enemy.

Really Sticking It To the Feds Now

You know it's pretty bad when your tough, macho rhetoric for the day is this: Republican Fox News host, Glenn Beck, and Republican U.S. House representative Paul Broun of Georgia rally support by claiming they didn't fill out their Census forms completely!!! These are some really tough guys. Thataway to stick it to 'em!

I'm not even sure I put a stamp on mine...It's a Revolution!

Another Incumbent Repub Calls for Revolution to Overthrow the Government

Republican Rep. Steven King of Iowa as boisterously as possible called for a Revolution! similar to the 1989 Czech Velvet Revolution that overthrew Soviet rule.
"I look back 20 years ago in the square in Prague... when tens of thousands showed up there and they shook their keys peacefully and they took over their country and they achieved their freedom back again," he said. "If you can keep coming to this city, fill up the congressional offices across the country but jam this city. If you can get on your cell phones, and get on your Blackberries and your email, and ask people to keep coming to this town. Storm this city, fill up Washington D.C., jam this capital so they can't move. And if tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of you show up, we will win. We will defeat this bill and you will have your liberty back."
Afterward he told Sam Stein at Huffington Post that the situation in America is very similar to the Soviet occupation of Czechoslovakia.
"Oh yeah, it is very, very close," King replied. "It is the nationalization of our liberty and the federal government taking our liberty over. So there are a lot of similarities there."
Unbelievable, it truly is. It's really hard to believe there are people this dumb in such high offices in America. Just as a quick history lesson for non-Fox News viewers, the American government is a democratically elected government. It is the most free and fair representative body in the world. In 1989 Czechoslovakia was not a democracy. It was a Soviet satellite controlled entirely by a non-elected one party system. There are absolutely no similarities between America and 1989 Czechoslovakia. Rep. King is grossly distorting history, reality and freedom everywhere.

It's bad enough that a current member of congress is comparing the Obama administration to the Soviet Union and calling for its overthrow, but just as another quick lesson in reality it's worth looking at the "square in Prague" today. The Czech Republic enjoys a single payer health care system very similar to what proponents of HCR want for America.
Healthcare (including dental treatment) is free to all citizens in the Czech Republic. It is provided through compulsory contributions to a state approved insurance fund.

[...]

Every citizen, with the exception of designated vulnerable groups, must make mandatory contributions to an approved Czech health insurance company.

[...]

The Czech healthcare service is decentralised and operates more like a private medical insurance system. They pay their contributions directly to their health insurance company who in turn pay the treatment providers directly, so there is no need for a reimbursement service.
There almost couldn't be a better example of what an American "public option" would look like. I say we take Rep. Steven King up on his Revolution! What a crazy bunch of people.

Everything They Do Is a Revolution!, Absolutely Everything

Republican Revolutionary Steve King (R-IA) compares a Republican document drafted by himself and Revolutionary Freedom Fighter Michelle Bachmann (R-MN) to the American Declaration of Independence.
"It's actually set up on parchment paper in Old-English longhand writing script," King told Radio Iowa. "It actually looks like the Declaration (of Independence) and it says a lot of things like the Declaration."
They wrote it on parchment paper using Old English font? By George, it is a Revolution! then.

How is it they believe everything they do is a revolution, and I really mean absolutely everything? And I'm serious on this one. All jokes aside. Revolutions are tantamount to overthrowing the rule of oppression. Their rhetoric is indicative of their belief that they really see the Democratic Obama administration as an occupation of the country. It's not that they lost an election, it's that Obama is a socialistfascist occupying the country. And what do you do when you are being oppressed by someone you believe is not a legitimate ruler of you? You revolt. That's what the American Colonists did when they no longer viewed the King of England as their ruler. That's exactly what Republicans are doing today.

The Obama administration is illegitimate by birthright and its secret agenda to turn the country into a socialist tyranny. Freedom of mankind is what's at stake here. Not just the mere decision of who's in charge of the country, but the very survival of the country itself.

There is no other way they could view every little thing with such revolutionary vision unless they believed that everything they are up against is because they are battling enemies of the state. No doubt about it. They are a deranged people. But this is absolutely what's going on.
