Dave Weigel reminds us that Republicans are serious about including a Constitutionality Statement into every piece of legislation in the upcoming session.
The Statement is supposed to show the public that the bills they pass are Constitutional unlike the bills Democrats passed. This may be the most retarded thing I've ever seen.
I wonder what kind of Statement they would have put at the end of their completely unfunded expansion of Medicare in 2003?
